WPKY will host a food drive for King’s Kitchen in Princeton Wednesday.
King’s Kitchen organizer Lee Ann Gilkey says this summer will mark the third year of passing out food boxes with their summer feeding program.
Gilkey adds they need donations to hand the boxes out every two weeks.
Monetary or food donations can be brought to the WPKY Studios on West Main Street in Princeton starting at 6:00 AM Wednesday. Volunteers will be outside the studio to begin collecting items by late morning. Food Giant of Princeton will also be collecting items to donate to the organization, with WPKY on-site for a remote from 10:00 AM to Noon.
WPKY Community Partner T-Mobile will be around to help with the collections Wednesday. General Manager David Lewis says they are glad to help with the community service project.
