The Princeton Optimist-Kiwanis Club Radio Auction has pushed past the halfway point and has raised nearly $6,000 with auction items.
On Wednesday, the auction had sold 62 items and brought in $2,194. Auction chairman George Kilgore said the club is still taking items or monetary donations, including Platinum Partnerships.
Kilgore added the Platinum Partners program is nowhere near the total they raised last year, but the Golden Goats program has seen several donations.
If you are the successful bidder on an auction item, you can pick it up Thursday night during the auction, Friday morning beginning at 10:00, or Saturday from 9:00 AM to Noon.
Kilgore and Edge Media Group President/CEO Beth Mann encouraged businesses to find unique ways to raise funds to donate to the auction.
New Hope Missionary Church will be set up and serving dinner during the auction Thursday night. Dinner will be ready around 5:00. All proceeds will go to the church.
The auction will begin tonight around 5:45 on 1580/103.3 WPKY, WPKYonline.com, and the WPKY app. The auction continues through Friday night at the Christian Life Center at Princeton First Baptist Church.
