After discovering a water leak in Fredonia Tuesday, the city has issued a Boil Water Advisory for some customers.
The advisory remains in effect until further notice for the Fredonia subdivision, as well as Old Mexico Road, Highway 641 North past Old Mexico Road, Christopher Road, Grand View Road, Oak Hill Road, Hugh Yates Road, Hill Side Road, Old Mott City Road, and Highway 902 East.
Water samples will be tested Wednesday morning. Until the test returns safe results, water customers in the affected areas are encouraged to bring their water to a boil for at least one minute and then cool it before consuming.
