Princeton Man Arrested For Child Abuse, Resisting Detainment


At 4:58 PM Tuesday, officers of the Princeton Police Department responded to a residence near the 100 block of Airport Road for an intoxicated male causing a disturbance.

Officers made contact with 33-year-old Michael E. Cooper of Princeton, and an investigation revealed that a physical altercation had occurred.
Cooper was taken into custody and charged with Assault 4th Degree Child Abuse.
Cooper also resisted officers while being taken into custody and was subsequently charged with resisting arrest.
