Weekend showers and storms are continuing to improve drought conditions across the region and more rain is possible throughout the week.
Weather Edge forecaster David Powell says he expects some of the region to be out of the ‘excessively dry’ category soon.
Powell adds by Wednesday, temperatures, and humidity will continue to rise.
Temperatures by Friday will be in the mid to upper 80s, and paired with lower humidity, will make the feel like temperature closer to the actual air temperature.
