Donnie “Little Donnie” Martin, age 47 of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, formerly of Princeton, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023 at the home of his mother in Lyon County.
He was born August 2, 1975 in Caldwell County, the son of Donnie Gene Martin and Linda Rambo Newman. He worked as a welder at Groupo in Hopkinsville. Donnie was of the Baptist faith, loved motorcross, duck hunting, playing softball, his children, grandchildren. He was also an avid of University of Florida fan.
Donnie is survived by his mother and step-father, Linda (Timmy) Newman; father and step-mother, Donnie (Christy) Martin; three daughters, Emma Grace Martin (Dylan) Mesler of Paducah, Kaitlynn Martin of Portland, Tennessee, Payton Martin of Portland, Tennessee; sister, Stephanie Martin P’Pool of Princeton; brother, Curt (Mandy) Martin of Princeton; two grandchildren, Rosalee and Liam Mesler; paternal grandmother, Bertie Meier of Princeton; three nieces; one nephew; several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Arnold and Eula Rambo, and Georgia Lamb; paternal grandparents, Pedro Martin and Richard Meier.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, July 21, 2023 at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Boyd and L.J. Granstaff officiating. Burial will follow in New Bethel Cemetery in Lyon County.
