Southside Baptist Church Hosts Ohio Mission Team

Southside Baptist Church is hosting a mission team of 94 from Ohio this week as they returned for a second year to assist the community in tornado recovery.
Members of 3 Christian Churches in the Cincinnati Ohio area first came to Princeton last year and spent a week helping with clean up and rebuilding homes. They felt led to return this year after seeing the destruction the community suffered. Brian White who serves as Pastor of the Community Christian Church said they were glad to return to the area and appreciate how well everyone has treated them.

The group was here to help with tornado recovery but when a wind storm hit the area Tuesday afternoon they immediately jumped in to help those in need. Noffsinger had personal experience with damage at his home when his wife sent him a picture.

Wednesday night the team gathered in the Southside Life Center along with members of the Southside Church to enjoy a meal together prepared by the mission team. Members of both groups joined together around tables to visit and share fellowship. They enjoyed a time of testimonies from both groups speaking from the stage about how God had worked through the efforts of the team serving here this week.
