Judy Carol Tyrie, age 75, of Princeton, passed away July 24, 2023 at her home.
Judy was born March 28, 1948 to the late Claude Kingsolving and Edna Arabella Gilkey Faughn. She was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of the Hull Pottery Association. During her lifetime she participated in many activities with her children, including 4-H, FFA and FHA. She also worked alongside her husband at Tyrie’s Tree Trimming. She was family first always and was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She will be missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Tyrie (Donald) Feldhaus of Murray; sons, Claude Marvin Tyrie of Princeton, Kenneth Wayne Tyrie of Princeton; sister, Dorothy Christine Ramey of Princeton; grandchildren, Brett Douglas Garner, Ryan Ethan Garner, Joshua Cecil Tyrie, Kayla Tyrie, David Wayne Tyrie, Leah Feldhaus and Olivia Feldhaus; special family friends, L.D. Mathis and David Childress.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Morgan’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lyon County.
