Officials with the City of Grand Rivers along with the Tourism Commission and Chamber of Commerce have announced that Grand Rivers is being considered as a possible regular port of call for American Cruise Lines.
Officials shared on social media last week that “The Village Between the Lakes” would have the opportunity to welcome cruise ships traveling the Kentucky Lake/Tennessee River waterways.
The first mooring of an American Cruise Lines ship will reportedly take place on Thursday and passengers will be at the port for 24 hours to enjoy all Grand Rivers has to offer.
Officials said, “Grand Rivers is grateful to have this opportunity to be considered as a port of call for the most rewarded United States Cruise Line.”
