The Princeton Police Department is investigating the theft of a skid steer on Hopkinsville Street last week.
Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison says officers received a theft complaint Thursday of a Cat 289C Skid Steer stolen from a field near the 1100 block of Hopkinsville Street. A witness reportedly told officers that the person who took the skid steer was driving a white Dodge dually flatbed pulling a gooseneck trailer. Allison says the witness also reported that the theft occurred Wednesday at dusk.
