The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a disturbance and shooting incident that occurred on Howard Road in the south end of the county Thursday morning. Sheriff Brent White says Chief Deputy Sam Adams responded to the delayed report of the incident report around 10:30 that morning where there were alleged injuries, however, nobody was reportedly injured from the gunfire.
According to Sheriff White, the incident allegedly occurred in the overnight hours after midnight on August 3rd. He says Deputy David Carroll initially responded just after 3:00 that morning, but all parties involved in the incident had fled the scene prior to police arrival.
During the investigation, deputies have collected physical evidence and witness statements which will be presented to a local prosecutor for possible criminal charges.
