Students from across Caldwell County returned to school Wednesday morning gathering on the school campus on Highway 91 North.
Superintendent Dr. Jeremy Roach felt like the opening morning went smoothly.
Transportation Director Dustin Cash was also pleased with the first morning of the school year.
Cash said he knew there will be things that have to be worked out in the coming days and they are asking everyone to be patient.
Nate Herron, of the Princeton Police Department, serves as a school resource officer for the district and was pleased with the flow of traffic for opening day.
Herron added he has some advice for drivers as they maneuver the school campus throughout the year.
