Safe Haven and the Caldwell County Animal Shelter are hosting a fundraiser to benefit the local animal shelter.
Linda Crenshaw explained to magistrates at last week’s fiscal court meeting that they are hosting the inaugural Virtual 5K Shelter Shuffle.

click to download audioCrenshaw said the money raised will go toward the purchase of the t-shirts and to the animal shelter.
click to download audioShe added that the deadline to register for the Shelter Shuffle is September 17th.
click to download audioWith this being the inaugural 5K fundraiser, Crenshaw wants to make sure the word gets out into the community.
click to download audioAccording to Crenshaw, the Shelter Shuffle can be completed between October 1st through October 15th. T-shirts will be available on October 1st at the Animal Shelter located at 489 Baker Hill Road.
