A Princeton man was arrested Saturday after an altercation with a teenager.
According to the Princeton Police Department, officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of Rose Avenue for a domestic disturbance before 2:00.
Upon making contact with 39-year-old Steven J. Downs, it was determined that a physical altercation had occurred with a 14-year-old victim.
Downs was taken into custody, charged with 4th-degree assault – child abuse, and lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
