Superintendent Roach Addresses Princeton Rotary Club

The guest speaker for this week’s meeting of the Princeton Rotary Club on Tuesday was Caldwell County School Superintendent Dr. Jeremy Roach.
Dr. Roach was asked to give the club an update on the current school year and explained the year was off to a good start.

He shared that enrollment is up in the local school district.

Roach also provided some facility updates.

He added noted the primary school will begin renovations during fall break and the high school greenhouse is scheduled for an upgrade, while progress is being made on the new sports building.

He added there is a plan to remove the annex building located beside Washington Street on the Butler Campus. That plan includes improvements to the grounds after the building is removed.

He said there are a lot of students involved in various extracurricular activities and also an increase of students attending and supporting those involved in those programs.

Roach shared his strong support of students being involved in extracurricular activities.

Roach added he’s grateful to serve in a district where the entire community supports the school system and the students.

The Princeton Rotary Club meets weekly every Tuesday at noon at the Majestic House. They invite speakers to come to their meetings to share activities they are involved in with the club. Guests are always welcome to attend.
