In what could be mistaken for a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it event, Caldwell County magistrates approved two new business items Tuesday morning.
The meeting only lasted three minutes, and in addition to approving the county’s bills and the monthly financial statement, magistrates approved the hiring of a new county road department employee.
The employee, not named, had the position approved, pending completion of required training. They also approved training hours for Judge-Executive Kota Young and Caldwell County Jailer Willie Harper.
