An Ethiopian native who visited Caldwell County earlier this year has been selected to serve in a position that will allow him to continue spreading the Word of God in his home country.
As the calendar turned the page to 2016 in the country Tuesday, Haile Tefera announced on WPKY via phone that he accepted the position thanks to the support from Princeton’s HR Ministries.
Tefera added that Ethiopia is far from the only country in Africa that needs the gospel shared.
HR Ministries’ Harrell Riley said they will be returning to the country this winter.
Riley added they did not expect to be a part of a mission this big.
Riley and Tefera attribute the recent influx of support from this area to being on WPKY’s Coffee Talk.
