Princeton Police Investigate Deliberate Vandalism At Cedar Hill Cemetery

The Princeton Police Department is investigating vandalism reported Wednesday morning at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Assistant Chief Shane Allison said officers responded to the cemetery around 9:30 AM after being called by the city’s Public Works Department. Officers found four tombstones that had been damaged in the cemetery and it was apparent that it
was done on purpose.
The vandalism occurred sometime within the last week, according to the police department. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to (270) 365-4657 or (270) 365-2041.
The cemetery, owned by the City of Princeton, was founded in 1809 and is the resting place for city founder Captain William Prince.
