Caldwell County Students Gather For National See You At The Pole Day

Students, teachers, and local youth ministers gathered around the flagpole at both the Caldwell County middle and high schools Wednesday morning to observe the national See You At The Pole Day.
Local Fellowship of Christian Athletes sponsor Zach East was pleased with the student participation.

J. D. Slaughter, an eighth-grader at the middle school, shared this was his first time attending.

Tenth-grader Doug York spent time praying for his school and church.

Emma Ward, also a tenth-grader, was looking forward to praying with her friends.

Timothy Nichols has participated in the prayer time in the past and was excited about the participation of students this year. He is grateful for a school that allows students to express their faith.

Fredonia First Baptist Youth Director Coley Rogers said this was the first time he brought his group to attend and was happy to see youth wanting to attend.

The local event is held annually.
