A Minnesota man arrested after a manhunt in Lyon County in July has been indicted by a grand jury.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office served a Lyon Circuit Court Indictment on 41-year old Anthony Williams of Minneapolis at the Crittenden County Jail Thursday morning.
Sheriff Brent White says Williams was involved in a pursuit with Kentucky State Police and later a manhunt off Exit 45 near KY 293 and KY 818 North on July 13th, in which the sheriff’s office provided assistance. He says Williams was a wanted fugitive at the time, and in addition to numerous traffic and drug offenses, he was in possession of a handgun and on parole for 2nd-degree murder out of Minnesota.
Williams remains lodged in the Crittenden County Jail.
