Animal Shelter Features Pet of the Week, Local Business Provides Crucial Assistance

The Caldwell County Animal Shelter presented its Pet of the Week this week on WPKY and expressed its gratitude to a local business that came forward to lend a helping hand in a time of need.
According to Jess Smith, a dedicated volunteer at the local animal shelter, this week’s featured Pet of the Week is Chloe. Chloe is a one-year-old, brown, short-haired dog weighing approximately 40 pounds.

She says Chloe has been residing at the local shelter for approximately a year and a half, just like many other dogs. Furthermore, Smith mentions that they have witnessed Chloe’s compatibility with other dogs, as evidenced by her recent adoption of her boyfriend, Jasper, on Monday.
