A Princeton man was transported to an Evansville hospital after his motorcycle slid into a vehicle on Linton Way Wednesday night.
According to Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison, an investigation revealed 53-year old Robert Riffe was traveling eastbound on his motorcycle on Linton Way when he lost control at the curve. The motorcycle reportedly dropped off the right shoulder and then came back on the roadway, where Riffe laid the bike on its side and slid into the front of a westbound car driven by 22-year old Alissa Traylor, of Princeton.
Riffe was treated on the scene by Caldwell County EMS and was later transported to Deaconess Midtown Hospital for apparent injuries.
Officers were assisted on the scene by Caldwell County EMS, Princeton Fire Department, and Princeton Police Department Accident Reconstruction Officer.
The collision happened around 7 p.m.
