Princeton Man Injured In Sunday Head-On Collision


A Princeton man was taken to the hospital after a head-on collision with another vehicle on Nichols Street early Sunday morning.
According to Princeton Police, officers were sent to the crash that occurred in front of Southside Baptist Church around 1:15 a.m..
Police say an investigation revealed that 35-year old Charles Jackson was driving an SUV east on Nichols Street and collided head-on with a car driven by 32-year old Robert Jones, of Princeton.
Both drivers were treated on the scene by Caldwell County EMS and Jackson was transported to Caldwell County Medical Center for apparent injuries.
Officers were assisted on the scene by Princeton Fire Department and Caldwell County EMS.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
