David Wayne Litchfield, age 78, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2023 at his residence. Mr. Litchfield was born on October 13, 1945 in Princeton, KY to the late Winfred Litchfield and Ida Marie Peek Litchfield. For many years he owned and operated King’s Great Buys Plus in Princeton, KY and Madisonville, KY. He was a proud veteran and served in the US Army’s 101st Airborne.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Tami Blades Litchfield; two daughters, Tammy Peyton of Madisonville, KY and Brandi VanderMolen of Portage, Michigan; son, Shawn David Litchfield (Ashley) of Madisonville, KY; brother, Johnny Litchfield of Paducah, KY; and eight grandchildren, Hailey, Emilee, Lexi, Hannah, Heather, Caitlin, Kash and Carsyn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kenneth Litchfield; two sisters, Wanda and Barbara; and two brothers, Gary and Jimmy.
A private service will be held for David Wayne Litchfield on Sunday afternoon and burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs.
