The Caldwell County Animal Shelter announced its Pet of the Week on WPKY Friday morning.
According to Jess Smith with the shelter, Scooter is approximately 2.5 years old, a predominately white, with brindle patches, mixed breed male dog. Suspicions are a potential hound mix.
Scooter came to the shelter as a puppy, and the shelter life is about all he knows. He’s a well-behaved, socialized boy. Up to date on vaccinations, with a clean bill of health, and neutered. He does well on a leash, is very friendly, and loves treats. Gets along well and is acclimated to other dogs and although high energy, interacts well with kids. Scooter has not been around cats, so the shelter is unsure of that but is hopeful.
