A Kuttawa motorcyclist was injured in a wreck involving an SUV in Lyon County last week.
Sheriff Brent White reports a deputy responded to a two-vehicle collision on US 62 West in Kuttawa around 8:15 Wednesday night, October 25.
He says the investigation revealed an SUV driven by 79-year old Elliotte Jackson of Utica pulled off New Circle Drive into the path of a motorcycle driven by 49-year old Jody Campbell of Kuttawa.
Campbell was transported to an area hospital for treatment of multiple injuries.
According to Sheriff White, Jackson stated that he did not see the motorcyclist when he was pulling onto US 62 West until the collision. Jackson reportedly had minor injuries but refused medical transport.
