Caldwell High School Students Gearing Up For Christmas Play

The Caldwell County High School Theatre Department is planning to present a Christmas play this year.
The local school system began last year with a plan to bring back plays and musicals to the district and hired Rebecca Robards for that process.
In her second year of teaching, she explained what they are trying to accomplish.

Robards described the play and the goal for choosing it.

She also previewed another upcoming presentation.

There are a few returning students returning, but a majority are new to the process.

Robards noted there are some students not appearing in the cast, but still have an important role.

She shared that students are both excited and nervous about the play.

This particular Christmas play has been performed on Broadway, but the version they are bringing to life will be around 40 minutes in length. Presentations are scheduled for Friday, December 8, at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 9, and Sunday, December 10, at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets will be sold at the door, $10 for adults and $5 for students. Performances will be held in the Fine Arts Building at Caldwell County High School.
