Chasity Tackwell, age 47, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023, at her home.
Chasity was born on September 3, 1976, in Princeton, to her late father James Brent Tackwell and mother Phyllis Brasher Cansler. Chasity was a devoted nurse at Caldwell County Medical Center ER as well as an EMT for Caldwell County EMS. She enjoyed watching NASCAR, going to the beach and on cruises. Chasity loved spending time with her family and was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Caldwell County.
Survivors include her mother, Phyllis (David) Cansler; daughter, Madison (Austin) Weir; sons, Blake and Wade Tackwell; brother Thomas Tackwell; grandson, Hudson Ray Weir.
In addition to her father, Chasity is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Thomas and Edna Brasher.
Visitation for Chasity Tackwell will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 1:00 PM with Bro. Bobby Noel and Bro. Mark Faughn officiating.
Burial will follow in Asher Cemetery in Caldwell County.
