Lawrence Wallace, age 72, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at his home.
He was born on February 9, 1951, in Caldwell County, Kentucky to his mother, Lillian Merrick Wallace Hale and late father, Albert Wallace. Lawrence was an engineer for Modine, York, Carrier, and lastly, TSC before retiring and working as a greeter at Wal-Mart. Outside of work, he was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer.
In addition to his mother, Lawrence is survived by his wife of 33 years, Judy Roberts Wallace; one brother, Willard (Terrel) Wallace of Clarksville, Tennessee; three nieces, Samantha (Lee) Robinson, Shellie (Matthew) White, Miranda (Jeremy) Bridges, all of Hopkinsville; one great-niece, Alaina White; one great-nephew, Hudson White.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Sivells and Bro. Roger Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Spring Church Cemetery.
