An incoming cold front will knock down temperatures before we head into the weekend and another system could affect your Thanksgiving plans.
Weather Edge forecaster David Powell says a cold front will bring with it a chance for showers for Friday, but precipation amounts should be low.
Once the front pushes through, plenty of sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 50s will be the weekend forecast. The overnight low on Saturday will be slightly below freezing, but Sunday’s low will be about ten degrees warmer.
Powell adds rain and storm chances then increase Sunday night through Tuesday, before another system makes its way into the region, dropping temperatures yet again.
The worst of scenarios, Powell says, could be a wintry mix on Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day. Currently, the forecast calls for highs next Thursday struggling to climb out of the 30s.
