Caldwell Tiger Cheerleaders Heading To Competition In Lexington


The Caldwell County High School Cheerleaders will be heading to Lexington this weekend to enter a competition that could allow them to earn a trip to Florida to showcase their talents.
Cheerleader Brianna Greenfield explained they competed last Saturday in McCracken County in two different competitions to qualify to move on to the next level this week.

click to download audioSenior Cheerleader Avery Thompson said this Saturday they will be competing in the United Cheerleading Association contest. She feels confident about them advancing on to Nationals.


click to download audioThompson shared they will be the only squad in the 2.5 contest and will have to score at least 70 to move forward. She says there are several squads competing in the gameday section.


click to download audioFreshman Cheerleader Zari Wilson said they have been through a lot already this year but it was going to pay off. She added their goal was to make it to Nationals and spend some time in a very special place.
