Donald Wayne Menser, age 80, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital in Madisonville, KY. Mr. Menser was born on July 19, 1943, to the late Dewey Menser and Effie Eula Ford Menser. He worked for many years at Daco Machine Shop in Providence, KY and was also self-employed as a mechanic. Mr. Menser was very well known as an excellent mechanic.
Survivors include a daughter ~ Melissa (Leriegus) Davis of Madisonville, KY; three sons ~ Lonnie Menser of Oak Grove, KY, Mike (Tressia) Menser and Bradley Scott Menser both of Dawson Springs, KY; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 53 years ~ Wanda Lou Belt Menser (Departed 3/20/2016), a sister ~ Betty Menser and six brothers ~ J.C. Menser, William Menser, Doug Menser, Earl Menser, Coy Menser and an infant brother.
Visitation for Donald Wayne Menser will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Rusty Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Dunn Cemetery in Hopkins County, KY.
