John Chester Cothran, age 81, of Grand Rivers, KY passed away Monday, November 27, 2023, at Mercy Health Lourdes in Paducah. John was a laborer/carpenter in the manufacturing industry and loved fishing and hunting.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Todd Cothran & wife, Tammy, Murray, KY and John Eric Cothran, Murray, KY; one sister, Janet Moneymaker, Grand Rivers, KY; four grandchildren, Josie Ann Cothran, Lily Cothran, Abby Cothran and Kari Cothran and several nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Carl Cothran and Eva Lovene Swihart Cothran; one sister, Carrie Lee Johnson and three brothers, Carl Wayne Cothran, Dwight Ford Cothran and Hughey Don Cothran.
There will be no visitation or services. Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville, KY is in charge of arrangements.
