An approaching disturbance will bring widespread moderate rainfall to western Kentucky Thursday night into Friday.
Weather Edge forecaster David Powell said this system was originally going to bring a good chunk of precipitation with it.
A cold front will make its way across the region Friday afternoon and bring some gusty winds.
The forecast calls for a rollercoaster of temperatures for the coming week, but Powell doesn’t see any significant signs of winter. He is continuing to watch weather models for a potential system in mid-December.
