The Dawson Springs Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Dawson Springs Chamber of Commerce Main Street Program, is scheduled to take place at 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Dawson Springs Police Department released on social media that this year’s parade route will be on Eli Street to U.S. 62 to Hunter Street then onto Railroad Avenue to South Main Street and ending on Ramsey Street.
Authorities say cars parked on Railroad Avenue will be asked to move starting at 4:30 Sunday afternoon.
Furthermore, all participants must meet at the First Christian Church on Eli Street to be judged at 4 p.m.
The police department also reminds parents Santa Claus will make a stop in the library KB Room after the parade to visit with the children.
According to Chamber officials, the theme of this year’s parade is ‘Favorite Christmas Movie.’
