A Greenville man is facing multiple charges after law enforcement responded to a disturbance complaint in Lyon County Tuesday afternoon.
Sheriff Brent White reports deputies were sent to the complaint shortly before 4:00 p.m. at a campground on Green Road. Upon arrival, he says deputies located a male and female who had been injured.
According to Sheriff White, the investigation revealed that 40-year old Jack Daugherty had driven to Tennessee and reportedly brought back an adult female back to Lyon County against her will. During the disturbance, he says the female tried to flee from Daugherty when he grabbed her and dragged her back to an RV camper. He says this was witnessed by a good Samaritan who called 9-1-1.
Daugherty was taken into custody and charged with first-degree strangulation, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree assault with a minor injury, and third-degree possession of a controlled substance. He was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
