By the end of the business day on Friday, Trice Hughes had successfully collected another truckload of food items during its holiday food drive to support Christ Tabernacle Church.

As part of the food drive in collaboration with Trice-Hughes and the church, WPKY had a live broadcast from 10 am until 1 pm Friday to assist in the collection of non-perishable food items, sweet treats and monetary donations.

Marketing Director Lexi Goodman from Trice-Hughes said they had been diligently gathering food items for a period of two to three weeks before Friday’s event. She mentioned that the collected items were delivered to the old Times-Leader building in Princeton.

Highlighting the significance of the food drive, Goodman emphasized that the church provides meals for several hundred families on a monthly basis.

According to Goodman, they collected more food items and monetary donations on Saturday. She also expressed her gratitude to the community for supporting the food drive and Christ Tabernacle Church.

Just as a reminder, Whitetail Dreams Ranch has also joined with Trice-Hughes and Christ Tabernacle Church to collect non-perishable food items, delightful sweet treats, and monetary contributions during its inaugural old-fashioned country Christmas celebration. The event will take place on Monday from 4 pm to 8 pm, and admission is free for all.

Stacey Bartholomew with the ranch said last week the “Whitetail Dreams Ranch Good Ol’ Fashioned Country Christmas” event will provide a wonderful opportunity for kids and adults to visit the ranch, while also contributing to the food drive.

Whitetail Dreams Ranch is located at 102 Mitchell Road off Highway 293 North in southern Caldwell County.
