Elizabeth Ann Haile, age 93, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Baptist Health of Paducah.
Elizabeth was born on April 20, 1930, in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Desmond and Ruth Cantrell Hensley. Elizabeth was a gifted seamstress and worked for more than 40 years at Gans in Louisville and Swan in Dawson Springs. In her free time, Elizabeth made countless crocheted hats and sent to children in St. Jude’s Children’s hospital. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, Charles and spending time with family. She loved all babies and puppies, especially her little dog, Charlie. She enjoyed attending and leading bible studies and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two daughters, Cheri K ( David) Storms of Princeton, Charlotte (Butch) Mayfield; one sister, Euton Cohoon of Calvert City; nine grandchildren, Michael (Carmen) Cozzin, Sean (Kristy) Mayfield, Angie Mayfield, Lisa (Vinnie) Jones, Curtis (Sarah) Riddle, Brian (Ashlee) Mashburn, Emily Mashburn, Jeremy (Kimberly) Haberlock, Joshua (Heather) Storms; nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Charles William Haile; sisters, Novella Oden and Imogene Haile; daughters, Shanna Riddle and Sheila Mashburn; brother, Joe Glendal Hensley; two grandchildren, Shelly Catherine Cozzin and Christopher Marcus Cozzin.
Memorial services for Elizabeth Haile will be held on Saturday, January 13. 2024 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Caldwell County.
