Caldwell Recycling Assistant Kenneth Freeman Honored at Retirement Reception

At the retirement reception held last week at the Caldwell County Courthouse, another county employee was recognized and honored for his service.

After dedicating approximately seven years of service at the Caldwell County Recycling Center, Recycling Assistant Kenneth Freeman is retiring at the end of this year.

During his employment, Freeman mentioned that there have been several changes that have taken place.

click to download audioFreeman shared that his future plans involve working on various projects around the house, including completing a remodeling project and simply enjoying life.

Freeman is married with two adult children and five grandchildren. As he enters retirement, Freeman said he looks forward to spending quality time with his family.

At the end of his interview, Freeman also wished everyone a Merry Christmas.

Friday afternoon, the county organized a retirement reception in the Fiscal Court room at the Caldwell County Courthouse to honor both Freeman and retiring Treasurer Glenda Harper.
