West Kentucky Hoops Classic and Breakfast Draws Strong Turnout

Organizers of the West Kentucky Hoops Classic were pleased with the turnout of teams and the number of attendees for the competition and breakfast, which serves as a fundraiser for the Caldwell County basketball programs.

Torey Hammett, the organizer of the annual fundraiser, revealed on Friday that he has been actively involved with the West Kentucky Hoops Classic for 10 years, and is responsible for recruiting teams for the two-day event.

According to Hammett, a breakfast was held for the teams Friday morning that is hosted by HR Ministries and Joseph’s Storage Bin.

click to download audioKen Freeman, who has visited Princeton multiple times in the past, was the featured speaker at the breakfast event but was unable to attend the Hoops Classic last year due to the ice storm.

Freeman expressed his amazement at the seven basketball games he watched on Thursday, emphasizing the incredible level of competition. Additionally, he highlighted that the breakfast was well-attended.
