Jo Carolyn Felkins, a cherished wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on December 26, 2023, at Caldwell Medical Center
Born on March 1, 1962, in Caldwell County, Jo Carolyn lived a life marked by love, creativity, and dedication to her family. She was 61 years old.
Jo Carolyn was the beloved wife of Bobby G. Felkins of Princeton and a loving mother to her daughter, Jessy (Kyle) Lowery of Princeton. Her warmth and nurturing spirit extended to her step-children, Melissa Gail Felkins of Louisville, Christina Dawn Felkins of Louisville, Natasha Marie Felkins of Princeton, James Robert Felkins of Princeton, and Richard Joseph Felkins of Madisonville; sister, Colleen Stallings. She was a doting grandmother to Abby Jo Morris, Christian Saylor, Jordan Lynn Abbott, Leon Abbott, Bentley Glen Felkins, and Trenton Lee Hayes, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
Before her passing, Jo Carolyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Jenny Marie McGregor; her parents, Bobbie Joe and Margaret Jones Dunn.
Jo Carolyn’s academic achievements included earning an Associate’s Degree in Business, which she used to excel in her professional endeavors. However, her true passion was found in crafting, a hobby through which she expressed her creativity.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
