The Caldwell County Water District has announced that Cody Kirby has been hired as the new superintendent, effective January 1.
Water District Board Chair Sally Hart tells WPKY’s News Edge that Kirby comes to the Caldwell County Water District with 17 years of experience in water and utility management. Furthermore, she said he offers the water district the background needed with the various water regulatory agencies.
Hart said they are excited to welcome Kirby to Caldwell County.
The Caldwell County Water District Board started the process of looking for a new superintendent following a special called meeting on October 17th where they approved the resignation of former CEO and Superintendent Jimmy Littlefield on October 13th.
