Wanted Pair Arrested in Lyon County Following Trespassing Complaint

Last week in Lyon County, a trespassing complaint led to the arrest of a Marion man and a Benton woman on warrants out of the counties of Caldwell, Livingston, Union and Warren.

According to Sheriff Brent White, deputies were sent to the complaint off US 641 North around 2:45 Wednesday afternoon. He says 44-year old Gregory Lawless and 39-year old Brandi Asbridge were located in a dry creek bed after deputies found their vehicle parked in a field and they had walked beyond no trespassing signs.

Lawless was taken into custody and charged with second-degree trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sheriff White says Lawless was on parole for criminal convictions out of Warren County for theft over $10,000 but less than $1 million, and Union County for first-degree criminal mischief, criminal trespassing, and drug offenses.

Sheriff White said deputies discovered Asbridge to be a fugitive from justice with five active warrants taken out for her arrest. She was charged by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office with criminal trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia, and her second offense for possession of meth.

Additionally, Asbridge was arrested and charged on three Livingston County District and Circuit Court warrants with failure to pay child support, felony probation violation for two flagrant non-support convictions and contempt of court for failure to comply with three fraudulent use of credit card convictions.

Furthermore, Asbridge was charged on a Caldwell County Circuit Court Warrant with felony probation violation for two methamphetamine-related convictions, along with felony probation violation for criminal possession of a forged instrument and theft-related convictions on a Henderson County Circuit Court warrant.

Both Asbridge and Lawless were lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
