Kevin Crockett, 53, of Mortons Gap

Kevin Lee Crockett, age 53, of Mortons Gap and originally from Beulah, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess. Kevin was born on August 30, 1970, to the late Laymon Crockett and Joan Coker Crockett. He was a 1988 graduate of West Hopkins High School. He worked at Goodyear and he worked in Law Enforcement serving on the Providence & Princeton Police Departments and the Webster County Sheriff’s Department. Additionally, he worked construction up and down the West Coast on a Natural Gas Pipeline.

Kevin had several hobbies. He loved playing the guitar and singing, and he was a former member of the “Dalton’s Burning Band”. He was an excellent artist and he loved to draw, especially cars. He was a “Big Foot” enthusiast and loved shooting guns. He loved to read and most especially read non-fiction. He was always the life of the party in almost any setting, and he loved particularly his mother.

Mr. Crockett was survived by a companion, Renee’Zachery of Mortons Gap, KY; one brother, Jason Crockett (MacKenzie Guizio-Crockett) of Beulah, KY; and three nephews, Cooper Crockett, Reed Crockett, and Joseph Crockett.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Kevin Lee Crockett will be on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Beshear Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM with Rev. Mike Marks officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Cooper Crockett, Jason Crockett, Joseph Guizio, Shane Neisz, Gary Blackburn and Chris Evitts.
