Officials with the Kentucky Arts Council have announced that Jannette Parent of Princeton is among 25 artists recently added to the Kentucky Crafted program.
The program is an arts marketing assistance program that provides visual and craft artists with arts business training, networking, sales, exhibits, and promotional opportunities.
According to Arts Council officials, being included in Kentucky Crafted also grants artists the opportunity to participate in The Kentucky Crafted Market, a yearly event that highlights the finest visual art and craft in Kentucky. The event will take place on March 9-10 at the Alltech Arena in the Kentucky Horse Park.
Parent’s painting craft was selected to be a part of Kentucky Crafted in the latest round.
The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, fosters environments for Kentuckians to value, participate in, and benefit from the arts. Funding for the Kentucky Arts Council is provided by the Kentucky General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts.
