Shelia Brennan Retires From Times-Leader

Shelia Brennan retired from the Times-Leader newspaper on December 31st after spending 22 years helping provide news to the community.

Brennan graduated from Caldwell County High School in 1976 and went on to acquire her associate degree in business management from Paducah Community College. The lifelong resident of Caldwell County joined the staff at the Times-Leader in 2001 after working at various businesses in the area. She explained while working at Wynn-Dixie a visit changed the course of her life.

click to download audioWhen the local paper was sold Brennan became the Office Manager for both the Times Leader and Herald Ledger. She said the one thing she enjoyed the most during her years at the newspaper was interacting with people in the community.

click to download audioShelia is an active member of Creswell Baptist Church and plans on joining the Quinn Homemakers. Her husband David passed away in 2019 and she has 4 children.
