The community is invited to attend the 8th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration at Central Presbyterian Church on Monday, January 15th.
Princeton City Councilwoman Pat George announced at last week’s meeting that the celebration will commence at noon.
click to download audioShe said the keynote speaker will be Dr. Vaughn Little from Lexington. Dr. Little earned his Bachelor’s Degree in psychology from Alabama State University, a master’s degree in counseling and human development from Troy University, a master’s degree in learning and behavioral disorders from Asbury University, and a doctorate in leadership education from the University of the Cumberlands. He is married and has three daughters.
Furthermore, George mentioned that Mayor Brock Thomas would deliver remarks during the celebration.
Central Presbyterian Church is located at 206 West Main Street in downtown Princeton.
