Farmers Bank and Trust Company Welcomes New Board of Directors Member

Farmers Bank and Trust Company has announced the addition of Michael Faughn to the bank’s Board of Directors.

According to Marketing Director Tiffany Massey, Faughn is a Caldwell County native and a 2008 graduate of Caldwell County High School. He obtained his undergraduate degree in accounting from Murray State University in May 2011, and his Master of Business Administration from MSU in December 2012. Faughn completed his CPA licensing in August 2013 and became a partner in the local accounting firm of Williams, Faughn & Associates.

Faughn’s wife is Nichelle, director of the George Coon Public Library, and they have a 9-year old son, Cash, and 3-year old daughter, Collins. Faughn is a member of Rock Springs Methodist Church and serves on the Board of Directors of Youth Incorporated.

Bank CEO Jeff McDaniels said they are excited to be adding Faughn to their Board of Directors. He noted that as a local CPA, Faughn brings a solid foundation of financial management experience and has a great feel for the local business climate through his work with local clients. He also mentioned that, in addition to Faughn’s professional attributes, they are also thrilled to bring his generational perspective to their organization.

Faughn will become the 8th active member of the bank’s Board of Directors, joining Chairman Will Ed Settle, Joe Falder, Sarah Walker, Dean Hughes, Phil Van Hooser, Joe McEnaney and CEO Jeff McDaniels.
