With the possibility of a winter storm approaching our region in the latter part of this weekend, Caldwell County Ag Shane Bogle shared some useful suggestions to assist in clearing snow and ice from sidewalks and driveways.
According to Bogle, many individuals rely on deicer and are unsure how much of the chemical to use. He suggests a few simple steps that can help ensure your safety while minimizing the use of deicer products.
He says using too much deicer poses environmental risks.
Bogle says you can also try some deicer alternatives.
