Jennifer Griggs has been named McDonald’s Educator of the Year for the multi-state area.
Griggs graduated from the Caldwell County School System and has been a teacher here for 30 years.
Chris McEnaney with the local McEnaney McDonalds explained that Griggs was nominated by her students and chosen from a large field of candidates.

McEnaney himself is a graduate of Caldwell County High School and is proud of the recognition that is being given to Griggs.
Joe McEnaney, also from McDonald’s, said he had known Griggs for a long time and feels she is well deserving of the award.
